Day 1
Arrival at Tokyo
A warm welcome at Tokyo, and overnight stay.
Day 2
Tokyo - Kushiro
You will leave for Kushiro which is a gateway to Kushiro Marshland as well as the last home of the Japanese Red-Crowned Cranes.
Day 3
Kushiro Marshlands – Lake Akan
Enjoy exploring Japan’s largest marshland. Go down the mystery river by canoe and soak in the serene environment of a snow-covered winter wonderland.
The largest Ainu tribe village is situated on the shores of Lake Akan. Glimpse into the unique culture of the Ainu people while watching their traditional dance show, visiting wooden craft shops, and more.
Day 4
Akan Mashu National Park – Shiretoko
Visit two beautiful caldera lakes. Encounter natural wonders such as the clearest water of Lake Mashu, the steaming onsen, hundreds of whooper swans on the lakeside, and more.
Day 5
Shiretoko National Park
Discover Shiretoko National Park covered by deep snow, with snowshoes. A nature guide will show you the unique habitat and natural fauna of Shiretoko such as raven, white-tailed eagle, sable, fox, deer, and more.
Day 6
Shiretoko – Abashiri
Stop at a spectacular waterfall and heritage center to learn the nature & culture of Shiretoko. Enjoy a private transfer to Abashiri.




Day 7
Abashiri
Visit the Abashiri Prison Museum which used to be the most notorious and feared prison in Japan. You’ll also see the Siberian drift ice around February, from an observation point of the Okhotsk Sea.
Day 8
Memanbetsu – Tokyo
Enjoy a private transfer to Memanbetsu Airport.
Leave for Tokyo by domestic flight.
Day 9
Leaving Tokyo
Enjoy a private transfer to the airport.
